Dear members of the fall 2006 SNC Early Adolescent Block,

Welcome to our bolg!

We will use this site throughout the semester to share ideas concerning issues involving the education of young adolescents.

To kick off the semester I would like each of you to share your thoughts on the two PBS Frontline Videos, Inside the Teenage Brain and The Merchants of Cool. These videos can be viewed on line at PBS web site (see the URLs below). Specifically, I would like each of you to indicate how you would use the information presented in the videos to "inform" your approach to teaching young adolescents. This assignment is due by Tuesday the 5th of September.
